77-year-old former lecturer will be UKZN`s oldest 2020 graduate

Durban - When the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) holds its first ever virtual graduation on Friday - due to the national Covid-19 lockdown - where 9 963 graduands will be honoured, one them will be a former lecturer who will also be this year`s oldest graduate at 77-years-old. Dr Ittamar Avin, a former UKZN lecturer, will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree - 18 years after he officially retired.
